Hi, I’m Elis

Your wedding day goes fast.

The people, the atmosphere, the moments happening all around you… it passes quicker than you expect. You want to actually be there for it, not spend it feeling pulled away from the people you love.

That’s what matters to me.

I photograph weddings for relaxed, thoughtful couples who care deeply about the feeling of the day and want photographs that feel honest, natural, and genuinely like them.

I’m based in Wimbledon, photographing weddings across the UK and beyond. I’m also a husband, dad to a very energetic toddler, and full-time ball launcher for our springer spaniel, Daisy.

Family, relationships, and meaningful moments matter a lot to me… which is probably why I’m drawn to weddings in the first place. There are very few days in life where everyone you love is together in one place, and that feels worth paying attention to.

Before photography, I spent a decade in Engineering and Strategy Consulting. It may sound unrelated, but those years taught me how to stay calm under pressure, organise complexity, and quietly keep things moving when it matters most.

That’s what I bring to a wedding day: a calm presence, thoughtful preparation, and someone genuinely invested in helping you relax, enjoy yourselves, and trust that what matters most is being beautifully documented.

How I work

The photographer you choose is with you for most of the day, so feeling comfortable around them matters.

I keep things relaxed, calm, and lightly guided.

Portraits are short and natural so you can spend more time with your people, while the rest of the day is about quietly paying attention to what is unfolding around you… the laughter, old friendships, parents, grandparents, atmosphere, emotion, and all the in-between moments you may not even realise are happening.

Before the wedding, I spend time understanding what matters most, who matters most, and how you want the day to feel, so that when the day arrives, you can stop thinking about photography and simply enjoy being there.
